Imminent Threat Alert

Warns of a credible, specific, and impending terrorist threat against the United States.

Elevated Threat Alert

Warns of a credible terrorist threat against the United States.
After reviewing the available information, the Secretary of Homeland Security will decide, in coordination with other Federal entities, whether an NTAS Alert should be issued.
NTAS Alerts will only be issued when credible information is available

If this submission requires immediate emergency response you must call 911.  The CIAC is not a first response agency.  Your submission will be sent directly to the CIAC for review and follow-up.  The CIAC will forward your report to the appropriate jurisdiction.  You may also report suspicious activities to your local law enforcement authority by contacting them directly. Thank you for helping keep your community safe by utilizing these reporting tools.
